At the AMB 2018, 1,553 exhibitors presented the latest developments in machine tools, precision tools and much more for metal cutting operations on 120,000 square meters of exhibition space.

91,016 visitors were interested in this offer in the middle of Europe’s leading high-tech region Stuttgart. 2018 for the first time with additional Paul Horn Hall (Hall 10) for even more space and more innovations!

Damian Domagala and Christian Nomine worked very closely with  CITIZEN MACHINERY EUROPE one of our biggest customers in the CNC machine industry to showcase MAPS and OEE.

The Pilot project that was shown at the fair consisted of three live machines that were connected to a central MAPS Server where the machine status and OEE efficiency calculations were shown.

Once again, MAPS showed its full flexibility and openness by being able to easily connect to the CNC controllers and as well as collecting, monitoring and analysing machine data and information in real-time.

• Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a measure of how effectively an item of equipment, a group of equipment items, or even an entire plant or factory is being utilised.
